NISI Yachts ordered Setzer Architects, the award-winning U.S. based Caribbean and design study for the design of high performance catamaran yacht series, in addition to the existing line of Xpresso luxury yacht NISI. The new vessel incorporates a wave-piercing, at the base of the shape of the hull at the bow and POD drive to improve the speed, responsiveness and maneuverability in the coupling, and should offer speeds above 25 knots.

Setzer House, the president said it is a real pleasure to work on a design like this and imagine all the ways in which the yacht can use vacation, rental, exploration or entertainment.

This is not the first time Setzer and NISI have joined forces in a project that uses pod units. They have worked on the award-winning yacht NISI 2400 motor multi, the first yacht in the world under 24 meters to be built in any MCA commercial RINA standards, which took place in 2011, and two other projects, including sister -ship of the NISI 2400 was launched last year, and a roll of 17 meters from the sports-cruiser launch this spring that was designed by an American politician prominent in the northeast. Setzer also developing a series of large vessels 30-36 meters ISIA, which has been dubbed "hookah" and was partially presented at Miami International Boat Show this month.
