World’s tallest Ferris Wheel on Bluewaters Island, Dubai

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum announced their final projects in Dubai: the development of a new island off the coast of Jumeirah Beach Residence. The sheikh is Vice-President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and his vision for the city-state's beautiful.

The project is known as Isla Bluewaters and include various activities, shops, residential and residential areas, including a 5 star hotel for visitors. It is estimated that tourists visit this place in large numbers: more than 3 million people each year. The reason for this is the fact that the island is the largest Ferris wheel, which measures 210 meters (689 feet) in diameter.

This is the extravagance of Arabia, in the best case, which will begin construction in the spring (April 2013). Also known as the Dubai Eye, the Ferris wheel has two prime contractors: Hyundai Engineering and Contracting Starneth. Plans superb, as you can see in the gallery below, and we can not wait to see the real thing! This daring project cost about $ 1.6 billion.
