Bang & Olufsen Sound System For New BMW X5

As BMW 6 Series and 7 Series and BMW X5 received a premium surround sound from Bang & Olufsen. This is the first BMW SUV to be equipped with the unique  Bang & Olufsen sound and the first BMW model with Bang & Olufsen to be produced in the United States.

New audio system comes with six active speakers powered by a 1200 watt amplifier that provide a rich, layered and authentic.

Each of the seven tweeters is paired with a speaker mid-range for a homogeneous sound experience. BMW subwoofer under each front seat eliminates unwanted vibration and ensures a clean powerful bass reproduction. Microphone is used to constantly adjust the sound according to the changing conditions inside and outside of the car, engine noise and air conditioning for road surfaces and bad weather extremes.

There are two alternatives sound modes. Fashion Studio is a bright and expanded is the mode that expands the sound and give the impression that the speakers are located outside of the car.
