Zac Posen’s $1.5 Million 24K Gold Dress for Magnum Ice Cream
What do you get when the ice mode and connect? Neither more nor less, but dressed 24K gold, valued at $ 1.5 million. American fashion designer Zac Posen partnered with Magnum ice cream to create this beautiful dress tailored specifically to the recent launch bar ice cream brand.
Inspired by the best of the melting ice, an evening gown features more than 10,000 hand-embroidered sequined gold 24 carat sizes. It took two weeks to sew sequins on the dress with hand-embroidered technique.
The 32-year-old Project Runway judge said ironically: "Create my dress first 24 carat gold was a valuable experience.'m Naturally attracted to luxury and love to push my creativity, so that the process design to create a couture gown in gold was exciting. MAGNUM I was inspired gold? for dress design ... the train reminds me of melting ice cream. the dress is so decadent. "
The gold dress will premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival on April 18 in a short film for Magnum played by Joe Manganiello. In the film, entitled As Good As Gold Manganiello plays a sexy tuxedo Heist thief resistant which is countered by a mannequin in a catsuit. But even he admits that the most entertaining in the dish was not the Brazilian beauty Caroline Correa, but instead, the stunning 24 carat sequins Posen dress created just for first place.
