New Lotus Exige S Roadster

Lotus unveiled the technical details and the price of a new Exige Roadster model, the fastest convertible in its history, to hit the market this summer.

Modeled after the cut, a topless version of the sporty two-seater also has a 3.5-liter V6 engine with improved compressor Harrop HTV 1320, and connected with the six-speed transmission speeds transferred to the rear wheel. The engine produces 350 hp at 7000 rev / min and a maximum torque of 400 Nm at 4500 r / min, and the European cycle (NEDC) consumes 10.1 l/60mph, with CO2 emissions of 236 grams per kilometer as the coupe.

The new Exige S Roadster weighs 1166 kg (10 pounds lighter than the coupe), and up to 60 mph comes in just 4 seconds and top speed is electronically limited to 145 mph. It should be noted that the car is equipped with Pirelli P-Zero Corsa tires standard size 205/45 R17 front and 265/35 R18 rear lights and day presented in LED technology.

Lotus Exige S Roadster in the UK market for € 52.900 (including tax) or € 55,378 (excluding VAT) in the rest of Europe or $ 80,000 in the United States.
