Ome - floating island homes

Donald Starkey Changes 'The World' ... In a project that is totally different from the usual routine of the world-renowned designer Donald Starkey announced plans with all new Atoll Floating Islands LLC.

The 32m-diameter floating villa called 'Ome has been designed to meet the demands of a UAE resident, but the design team of the most important plans. The 'Ome villa design expected to change the state of the world - luxurious Dubai archipelago - providing a floating villa independent for easy maintenance and irrigation for island owners.

The configuration of the islands will be a platinum double format, to be at least 32 meters long. The lower floor has living spaces for a total of approximately 1,400 square meters of living space. It will have facilities like living room outdoor pool, bar and dining room.

The upper deck has five rooms and a relaxation area for the owner of the house on the island. Since the basic concept has been revealed as of now, the potential for change in the new design concept and development is enormous, which was repeated by Graham Henderson, chief Palmerstone.

Each house Ome island self-treat all waste and use renewable energy sources to meet the needs. With approximately 32,000 KW of energy production estimates, it would be prudent to set the equivalent to the energy needs of six families. Now this is something that has never been done before.

The cost to the owner says more than 22 million, but this is only temporary, because the customizations and features will make it different. But leaders say Palmerstone be less than the construction of a ship super-yachts.

The first construction of "Ome" is offered as a turnkey project completely finished, bespoke interiors, high specification for delivery in 2013/2014.
