Hennessey Venom GT, The Fastest Production Car in the World


With a top speed of 265.7 mph, Hennessey Venom GT became the fastest car production, you can buy on the market and drive legally on public roads. The record was set February 9, 2013 on the runway at the U.S. military base in California, but Hennessey has released official information.

Although the result is not debatable, the title of the fastest is like the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport has officially recorded top speed of 267.8 mph top. Hennessey Venom GT based on Lotus Elise / Exige model, instead of the original Lotus unit, driven by the twin-turbo 7.0-liter V8 engine can develop 1262 hp. The aim is to produce a total of 29 samples, and the price of the car is about 1.2 million.
