BMW X4Concept to Debut in Shanghai

The Shanghai Auto Show will mark the launch of a new and very attractive BMW concept. Called the BMW X4Concept, the vehicle will be officially released in April 21, which is a source of inspiration for a new crossover in line X. Produced in the factory of the automaker in California, the new X4 would hit the market like a production version in 2014.

The concept is based on the X3 platform and is actually a smaller version of the X6 success. It was designed by designer Karim Habib chef and we love what we already see in some leaked photos. Diehard fans of BMW will be able to admire the concept live soon, when more official information will also be made public.

What we know now is that the X4 concept has a wheelbase of 2,810 mm and measures 4648 mm long, 1915 mm wide and 1622 mm high. While speculations are around X3-borrowed six-cylinder diesel and gasoline engines, we will wait for the official specs to confirm or to silence the rumors.
